ROSA-flex 85A is a thermoplastic polyurethane from ROSA3D. The material is intended for technical applications. Thanks to its flexibility and exceptionally high interlayer adhesion, it will prove itself wherever resistance to mechanical damage and tensile strength are needed. It can be compressed and stretched many times without permanently disturbing its original shape. In addition to mechanical strength, the filament is characterized by exceptional chemical resistance. It is not sensitive to greases, oils and many solvents. The filament is recommended for users who already have experience with 3D printing.
Recommended ROSA-Flex 85A printing parameters
- extrusion temperature 215-250°C
- table temperature: 30-60°C
- airflow: 0-100%
- printing speed: 15-50 mm/s (we recommend starting slowly and gradually increasing the speed)
compatible workbenches: glass, smooth PEI, textured PEI.
The filament can be printed on unheated tables, in an open chamber. In case of problems with adhesion, we recommend the use of an adhesive agent. Cooling during printing is recommended. Its power should be adapted to the capabilities of the printer and the geometry of the printed model.
Problems with filament extrusion? try this
- loosen the screw that adjusts the pressure of the knurl to the filament feed roller
- reduce the print speed
- install the Teflon tube sealing the filament feeding path"
