The PLA Multicolour Silk Moon filament by Rosa3D allows for easy preparation of 3D prints with unique color schemes. Each spool contains multicolored filament in shades of navy black, graphite, and moonlit steel. Furthermore, thanks to the use of a unique material blend based on PLA, the PLA Multicolour Silk Moon filament has a glossy finish, which beautifully reflects light and adds visual softness to the prints. One spool weighing 350g net contains over 2 full color cycles. Each color cycle is only 150g.
Depending on the selected printing parameters (print size and infill density), you can incorporate as many colors as you want in your model. In addition to its exceptional appearance, the PLA Multicolour Silk series is also characterized by ease of printing. It prints at the same settings as standard PLA (Nozzle temperature around 215°C), does not require a closed chamber or speed reduction, and layer adhesion is excellent. This filament will be an ideal choice for starting your 3D printing adventure. Color transitions visible in the print depend on the size of the model and infill density.
NOTE! The frequency and order of color transitions are determined for each production batch. Therefore, a single spool may start from any point in the process, e.g., one spool may start from blue, while another may start from pink. Shade variations are permissible.
Recommended printing parameters:
- extrusion temperature 185-225°C
- table temperature: 40-60°C
- airflow: 50-100%
- printing speed: 60-80 mm/s
The filament can be printed on non-heated tables. In case of problems with adhesion, we recommend the use of an adhesive agent.
