PET-G (polyethylene terephthalate with an admixture of glycol) is a material that is easy to 3D print, with high transparency and a neutral smell. Application: Prototyping, large-format prints, covers/housings.
PET-G CarbonLook by ROSA3D was designed for prints where the visual effect of the object is more important than its industrial use. A small addition of carbon fibers used in the PET-G Standard material makes it possible to obtain a print with a satin surface and almost invisible layers, with only a small stiffening the material. An additional advantage is the possibility of obtaining a slight transparency of the material in prints with very thin walls.
Printing with PET-G CarbonLook is characterized by a low level of stringing and excellent adhesion between layers. Obtaining fascinating effects is as easy as in the case of PET-G Standard filament. The material does not shrink, does not require a closed chamber. Due to the low content of carbon fibers in the material, the abrasion of the filament is lower than in the case of PETG+CF material, which translates into less wear of the printing nozzle.
