Specialized nylon filament with added glass fibers for 3D printing using FDM technology.
Filament Fiberlogy NYLON PA12+GF15 1.75mm
PA12+GF15 is a material derived from Nylon PA12. It is created by adding 15% of glass fiber (GF) to the product. This addition significantly increases strength, stiffness, as well as thermal and chemical resistance compared to pure Nylon. PA12+GF15 exhibits a stiffness level of 3.6 GPa and can withstand temperatures of up to approximately 170°C.
Advantages of Fiberlogy Nylon PA12+GF15:
Unlike Nylon with added carbon fibers, this filament offers greater flexibility, making it ideal for applications that operate under variable loads and are prone to impacts.
Very low shrinkage ensures high dimensional stability, which, combined with high strength, allows for engineering excellence in home conditions. This filament does not require a heated chamber. However, due to its high abrasiveness, it is advisable to use steel or ruby nozzles for printing to prevent excessive wear.
Properties:
- Diameter: 1.75 mm
- Diameter tolerance: +/- 0.02 mm
- Net weight: 0.500 kg
- Color: Black
- Printing temperature: 255 - 270°C
- Bed temperature: 90-110°C
- Printing speed: 35-60 mm/s
- Closed chamber - not required
- Drying conditions: 80°C / 4h
- NOTE: The material has highly abrasive properties. It is necessary to use nozzles made of hardened steel or ruby.
- Use gloves (possibility of micro-damage to the skin). When processing, use a dust mask and protective goggles.
Application Fiberlogy Nylon PA12+GF15:
AUTOMOTIVE: engine compartment components, vehicle component housings, air inlets, fluid inlets.
INDUSTRY: spare parts, short production runs, utility models
MEDICINE: prosthetics, medical equipment
SPORT: accessories, protectors, airsoft components
