ROSA-Flex 96A is a technical TPU filament that excels in situations requiring high resistance to chemicals and mechanical damage. Prints made from this material are characterized by their flexibility, allowing repeated compression and stretching without losing their original shape. This material also provides excellent interlayer adhesion and good adhesion to various build surfaces. Flexible and durable 3D printing material in a vibrant neon color. The ROSA-Flex 96A filament is a thermoplastic polyurethane that is ideal for intermediate 3D printing users, especially those looking to experiment with flexible materials. Thanks to its suitable hardness, this filament can be successfully printed on Bowden extruder printers as well as on open-frame machines, without the need for an enclosed chamber. It adheres well to various build surfaces, such as glass, smooth PEI, or textured PEI.
With optimal printer settings, prints made from this material exhibit excellent adhesion and high resistance to mechanical damage, maintaining their shape even after repeated compression and stretching. This material is also resistant to substances like vinegar and engine oil, showing no visible changes. Additionally, ROSA-Flex 96A is made from food-safe materials, but it is the responsibility of the final product manufacturer to obtain the necessary certifications.
Recommended printing parameters for ROSA-Flex 96A:
- Extrusion temperature: 210-250°C
- Bed temperature: 50-70°C
- Cooling fan: 0-100% (depending on model geometry)
- Print speed: 15-50 mm/s (it's recommended to start slow and gradually increase the speed)
- Compatible build surfaces: glass, smooth PEI, textured PEI
The filament can be printed on both Direct and Bowden extruder printers. It does not require an enclosed chamber. The material adheres well to the mentioned build surfaces, but if any adhesion issues arise, the use of adhesive agents is recommended.
Having extrusion issues with your filament? Try these steps:
- Loosen the screw that adjusts the pressure of the hobbed gear against the filament feed roller.
- Reduce the print speed.
- Install a PTFE tube to seal the filament feed path (see photo).
