Dimafix Pen (90ml) is a new product based on Dimafix formula. Maintains the same adhesion properties of Dimafix spray format but in dabber liquid format. It has long been useful (more than 100 uses). It is water soluble so it is easy to clean. It works on different temperature range than Dimafix gas, so it allows the self dettaching effect of the piece sooner. This product does not contain any gas, is enviromentally friendly. You can also notice it great smell during the print. After you use it, close it and hold it properly.
Dimafix is an adhesive designed to be used in 3D printers in FDM (fused deposition modelling). Prevents tearing off print from the printer table. The adhesive is easy to remove - soluble in water.
Note, Dimafix Pen works in other temperature ranges than the spray! Depending on the temperature, you can distinguish four ranges of use of the stick:
Zone up to 65 ° C - the preparation exhibits negligible adhesion properties, does not protect the model against tearing and peeling
Zone from 65 ° C to 85 ° C - achieves medium tensile strength. This zone is 10 ° C higher than the spray. Typically used for simple elements, without sharp edges, vertices or expanded surfaces with an average length of time.
Zone from 85 ° C to 95 ° C - high adhesion strength. Used for models with freely developed geometry, even in the 200 × 200 mm area with long print times.
Zone above 95 ° C - maximum adhesion strength. Used for models with freely developed geometry and model size, even within the 480 × 240 mm range with extremely long print times (above 24 hours). In this area the formulation reaches its maximum. These are optimal values that guarantee the best quality at sharp edges and vertices, which tend to concentrate internal temperature-induced voltages.
How to use 3D printing glue Dimafix Pen:
Shake for a few seconds,
Make sure you are applying on an unpainted work platform,
Wait until the working platform reaches the right temperature,
Start printing and keep the temperature of the table, eliminating problems with peeling off prints,
After the process wait until the temperature drops to a minimum of 50 ° C,
The print is ready for remove.
